Ancient cultures of the world have spiritual beliefs and connections with the earth. The stories that each culture has to offer, often tell us of how we have come from the earth- "Our Mother". The Native American people of the Southwest consider that our "Mother Earth" is the source of all life. When we observe nature we are learning from the greatest teacher. She is to be honored, and to honor the inter connectedness of all is to prove our "Mother" respect.
